Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2003 Carina graduated from 2 years of Art school and soon after, joined and worked with the ceramic group "22ans keramik". Her passion and apparent success drive her to found her own studio in 2008, where she worked mainly with ‘raku’ technique of firing ceramics.
After working with Ikebana arrangements at Aeroseum museum in Säve 2005, Carina continued with creating pots for also Kokedama and Kusamono.
‘I really like the appearance from raku but mostly I burn in stoneware. I love to experiment with different glazes, designs and shapes. Therefore, I never do two pieces exactly alike’.
