Fujikake Yuzan

Born in 1936. When young, Yuzan kept bonsai, and his interest in Bonsai pottery started early. After his first show, the demand for his works escalated suddenly, and  has lasted a lifetime. He owns 'Cafe Dosenbo', where he displays many of his works over the past 30+ years. Although his works were extremely sought after from the beginning, his style has evolved over time and both his past and recent works are very collectable and command strong prices.
All his work is made freehand and his range of paintings is superb.

The website of German master potter Peter Krebs has a superb in-depth article on the works of this Japanese master, which can be view here.
