Peter Krebs is an incredible artist and creator of bonsai pots. His pots are of the highest quality and in addition to being very functional, are very collectable items. He has an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of ancient Chinese and Japanese pottery, which shows through in his work. His painted work is arguably the best in Europe.

Cung-K'ui der geisterbanner. 
This form of this pot was made in homeage to an old Chinese pot.
​Cung K'ui was a  demon / god / necromancer from an old Chinese book. A necromancer supposedly practiced a sort of magic, where they would communicate with, or raise the dead, in order to foretell future events. 
In his hand Cung-K'ui holds a book of spells, and a bat flies next to him. 
A Chrysanthemum and a butterfly are depicted on the back.

Fu dog / temple lion - 
Chinese imperial guard lions, originally known just as 'shi' - lion, 
now often refered to as Foo dogs. The myth spread from China across Asia, and became smaller, and were usually found in pair, with: the female representing yin, and the male, yang.

Yin - Yang Erotic
In China, erotica was a part of everyday life and culture, and was often featured in art. 
Peter explains that these 'Spring pictures' represent the search for self-fulfilment and self satisfaction, from beauty in all its forms.
