Jürg Stäheli of Switzerland is a trained stone sculptor and restorer of stone buildings. He founded his own workshop with his wife Susanne in 1980 and has recently passed the family business on to his son.
Jürg has long had a passion for bonsai and ceramics, and has been practicing bonsai to a high level and making bonsai pots, purely as a hobby for a number of years. His pots are beautifully designed in relatively classical styles, and are meticulously crafted.

This piece was featured in Europe's most prestigious Bonsai Pot Display to date, at the 'Best of XX Years Trophy', in Belgium 2019. The pot can also be seen in the 'Trophy' book 2019 Edn.
